‘Coincidental Death?’ is a suspense/mystery short story. (10,100+ words)
When Ella is excused from class to go to the bathroom the last thing she expects to see is the basketball team carrying what looks like a dead body from the gym to the bushes at the far corner of the school. Upon inspection of the large black bag that had been tucked into the far corners of the bushes Ella discovers a body. A still, lifeless one.
With so many questions in her mind Ella ultimately has to find out who the killers are. She could just hand them over to the police... it’s just that her boyfriend is part of the basketball team and could end up being part of the guilty party.
What has Ella worried is that the girl found dead just happens to have an eerie resemblance to herself. Coincidence? Maybe

I love a good suspense story and am a huge fan of Stephen King. I particularly love his work when he was writing as Richard Bachmann and this book really reminds me of his style of writing, story telling and feel of the book. The writing is tight and really moves the story along. I love the way the author wrote Ella. Watching her question her loyalties to her boyfriend when they were in violation with her conscience was a great struggle to watch unfold. If you are a fan of thrillers or suspense, you will love this book. It is a very well done short story!Product details

This is a really creepy short murder-mystery story. Don't read it alone or in a dark room! The first half of it is pretty puzzling, but it wraps up nicely in an ending that I didn't expect at all.

Coincidental Death is a very good short story thriller. The plot is well developed and the characters all have their faults. There are twists and turns with a surprise ending. I highly recommend this book. Will be reading other books by this author.
